Kenneth Frederick Marsh and his wife, Blanche, collaborated to produce a number of books about different regions in the south, with "Charlotte, Carolinas' Queen City" being the focus of this collection. Collection materials include the proof for this book, as well as correspondence between various individuals who provided documentation and financial support for the book. The correspondence was from and to Charlotte’s most prominent citizens, including George M. Ivey, John Belk, W.T. Harris, Stan Brookshire, and Harold C. Dwelle.
This collection is arranged into two series--Series 1: Correspondence, 1966-1967; Series 2: Proofs, c1967.

Kenneth Frederick Marsh (1901-1968) and his wife, Blanche Marsh (1902-1991), produced a number of books about different regions in the south, with "Charlotte, Carolinas' Queen City" being the focus of this collection. Collection materials include the proof for this book, as well as correspondence between some of Charlotte’s most prominent citizens: George M. Ivey, John Belk, W.T. Harris, Stan Brookshire, and Harold C. Dwelle. Materials are in good condition and dated c1966-1967.
Arrangement
This collection is arranged into two series. Box 1 houses Series 1: Correspondence, 1966-1967 and is arranged alphabetically by surname. Letters within each surname are arranged chronologically. Box 2 houses Series 2: Proofs, c1967.
