Content Description
The Carolinas Concert Association, currently known as Charlotte Concerts, was founded in 1930 in Charlotte, NC. The mission of Charlotte Concerts is to “present the best in the performing arts for the widest general audience here in Charlotte and the surrounding communities.” Charlotte Concerts’ innovation, support, and leadership has greatly contributed to the growth of performing arts in the city of Charlotte.
The Carolina Concert Series Collection contains programs from the Community Concert Association (1983-1989), Theater Charlotte (1998-1999), Charlotte Community Concert Association (1989-1994), and Carolinas Concert Association (1994-2004).
