Abstract This collection spans items of political relevance for the Carolinas between 1885-2016. The collection consists primarily of sample voting ballots for Charlotte-Mecklenburg and campaign paraphernalia. Items of particular interest in this collection include: a ticket to the 1885 Grand Inauguration Ball for President Grover Cleveland; a poll book from 1928; a signed letter from Franklin Delano Roosevelt during his term as Governor of the State of New York; a souvenir program from the 1936...
