Richard Casanova (1918-1994) was a World War II veteran, paleontologist, and author, among other trades. Casanova played a heavy role in researching the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence (Meck Dec). The provenance of these collection materials is unknown, but likely were donated by Casanova himself.
